Caraway for Kattila Akvavit is from Jannela farm in Mäntsälä, dill is from Nordic Herbs, grown in Säkylä and lemon balm and coriander are also from Finland. The board of the Distillery has hand picked spruce sprouts in Mäntsälä for the akvavit. Toasted oak from Laaksolahti, Espoo mellows the taste. Kattila Akvavit has not been chill filtered and it has all its aromas left and gets its translucent amber color
